Team JuJu Marketplace (2020)

NFT marketplace for collectibles featuring a NFL player


Overview

JuJu Smith-Schuster of the Pittsburgh Steelers and his team wanted a dedicated marketplace for selling NFTs to his fan base. I was contacted to help define the branding and user experience of the marketplace.

Branding and design system

The Steelers’ colors of black, gold and white were to be incorporated into the brand. I developed a simple but effective design system featuring essential components so that developers could quickly implement a branded marketplace.

Using atomic design

Once I set up a design system, I was able to make rapid changes while speaking to the client by using the atomic design framework. Developers could focus on building out the design language and I could plug and play components to see how they would look on the screen.

The project was on a tight timeline. To get the site running quickly, I looked at popular NFT marketplace and reached for feature parity of those sites.

Final design

A responsive website was launched for NFL and JuJu fans to buy, trade and manage their digital collectibles. Updates and NFT drops are added to the site every 19th, JuJu’s Steeler jersey number.
